Cooperman.org is looking for the descendants of Rudah Cooper. Here's what
we know
about her:
- Rudah was from the Radom district in Poland, probably from a town
called Osiek near Klimontov and Opatow
- Rudah was married in Poland before the turn of the century
- Her parents were Smiel Kupfer and Elka Goldhar
- Her siblings were Moishe, David, Herschel, Jeremiah, Glueckl, and
Joseph Cooper
- She came to Toronto, Canada to her brothers Moishe and Joseph
without her husband
- There she declared she would never send for her husband.
- Her brothers were so distraught that she ran away to the (we think
to the United
States) and they never heard from her again.
